Pictured is Barbara Shannon, mother of Brent Shannon, receiving her son's photography award at the Thousand Oaks Art Association's 2011 Open Juried Show. Brent was away participating in a weekend military reserve meeting. The award is being presented by Phyllis Doyon who directed the exhibit.
