Music: "Take a Chance on Me" "Go to any length, work to any degree and wait however long it may take for the light to be right and the lens to present one magnificent moment of truth. Then proceed to print the final image in deep, intense blacks and pure whites with a subtly accurate pallet of grays between the two extremes."
Howard Ehrlich is an award winning photographer who has been making pictures for over forty five years and has traveled a great deal throughout the world. His hope is that by documenting the lives of those people living in the cities and villages of Europe, Asia, South America and Cuba, we will get a better understanding of how other people live. His travels have also given him the opportunity to photograph dilapidated houses, rundown barns, interiors of ghost towns, and wonderful vistas of our country. Howard studied black and white photography for many years, becoming an excellent printer . A few years ago he became enmeshed in digital photography and is now producing large format archival pictures of his digitally manipulated and world travel photos. Recently, thirty of his large format black and white giclee photographs were hung in an award winning, class “A” office building in Century City. He belongs to several art organizations, has won many prizes, and his photos are in many private collections.
