As a native of Southern California I have enjoyed the beauty of the sunny beaches, mountains and deserts my entire life. I am married to a wonderful husband who is my biggest fan when it comes to my artist skills. I raised two sons who are now married and love living just a few miles from my 2 special grandchildren. After retiring from Commercial Real Estate I read an article about an Adult education painting class at Westlake High School. Always wondering if there was any hidden talent, I signed up to find one of the most rewarding and exciting adventures in my life
I enjoy painting in the Acrylic Medium. It is fast drying and I am impatient. We work harmoniously together. I also admire the texture and drama it gives to canvas and paper.
What I truly enjoy about painting is getting lost in my work. I go to the places I paint while the brush is in my hand and relive the wonderful times and experiences I have enjoyed in life.
My hope is to pass the love and passion I have for these experiences on to the people, friends and family who view my paintings. My style of painting is developing into deep color and attention to detail and is becoming recognizable as a signature of my work.
