Tom
Gamache experienced the wonder and beauty of the outdoors exploring the lakes,
rivers and mountains growing up in New England. He attended Boston University’s
School of Public Communication where he studied photography and broadcasting.
Tom’s earlier career included successful commercial work in both fields. His
interest in broadcasting continues, but it is in the field of Landscape Art
Photography that he has found mastery, accomplishment and fulfillment.
After more than 25 years as a professional fine art photographer, Gamache has
become synonymous with exquisite natural and cultural landscape art photography.
His company "Wandering
Around Outdoors" was appropriately named for his legendary road
trip adventures, often covering many thousands of on-the-ground miles
discovering and resolving his experiences into images that capture the art, the
power and the ever-changing personality of nature.
His work appears in many domestic and international books and magazines as
well as interpretive displays and visitor centers from Maine's Acadia National
Park to Sequoia/Kings Canyon, Death Valley and Yosemite National Parks in
